Jemma McGeachie is the founding and principal physiotherapist at North Physiotherapy.

Jemma is a warm, compassionate and dynamic physiotherapist with 18 years’ experience. Originally from the Central Coast, Jemma completed her Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy degree at the university of Sydney and commenced her career working privately with an expert women’s health and musculoskeletal team. This early interest in treating women led her to work in both antenatal and postnatal care in London and now in Sydney. Following the birth of her three boys, Jemma’s passion for helping women was further fostered when working at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, at Physiocise in Willoughby, and in a specialist women’s health private practice in Sydney. Jemma is also an experienced clinical Pilates teacher which allows for optimal exercise rehabilitation of all musculoskeletal injuries.

Her career goal is to inspire her patients to live their best lives, free from pain, living to their potentials, performing in the exercise they love and achieving their specific life and health goals.

Jemma is a member of The Australian Physiotherapy association. She has a passion for ongoing learning and development of evidence-based physiotherapy practices.

Outside of physiotherapy, Jemma loves Pilates, being in the great outdoors and keeping active with her three boys by surfing, skiing and bike riding. She also has a love of ballet and has taught children the art form for many years.
